Primarily associated with chassis development, he most recently worked in Formula 1, with Williams and their wind tunnel facility. Was the head of Lola's technical centre in Huntingdon until the firm went into administration. He remains, however a freelance technical consultant. More recently, he has devoted time to historic cars. Before going into motorsport, he worked for British Leyland and was with the company when he gained his doctorate, which he did studying at Imperial College. Their wind tunnel was used by Formula 1 teams and that's how he progressed into the sport. He later worked with Lotus, Ligier and Jordan. He runs his own business as part of his consultancy work, Dragonfly Technology.
