Another man who achieved more success in America than F1, Tim worked as an engineer in CART and the IRL, and in more recent years, Indy Lights. He had great success in the Indianapolis 500, and his last visit there was in 2012 for the Alesi and De Silvestro Lotus attempts as thir competitions director. Was also a consultant engineer, and involved in chassis development and design too as well before his death in 2012. Lived in Indianapolis.
