Along with Mike Earle, Joe ran Onyx in F3000 and Formula 1, with Joe specialising in the business aspect and Earle concentrating on racing. Joe is now retired, but until 2022, was involved as a financial consultant, accountant or director of a number of companies, including security, catering, pharmaceutical and property businesses, although his expertise is in the financial world. Joe has been based in Banstead and Monte Carlo, but is now back living in his native Hertfordshire.
