Better known for his work in sportscars, particularly with the MazdaSpeed effort for Alan Docking Racing, but also for spells at Cadillac and Toyota, Nigel was most recently involved in CART projects and now also works on historic racing cars, as well as being a design consultant, but is retired from day-to-day design work. Nigel, who lives in Oxford also races pre-war cars and is a member of the Vintage Sports Car Club. Stroud also worked for March and Lotus in Formula 1 as well as his spells at Hesketh and ATS. He also worked on the Argo JM16, the Royale RP40 and the RLR Porsche 962GTI sportscars amongst others.
